Ex-Norstan CEO tapped for Spanlink CFO post

Jan 15, 2008 - Spanlink Communications said it appointed Scott Christian as its new chief financial officer.

Plymouth-based communications provider, Spanlink, said that Christian will take over the post effective immediately, and will report to Spanlink CEO Brett Shockley.

Christian was vice president and general manager for Lawrence, Pa.-based Black Box's Voice Services North Business Unit. In 2005 Black Box acquired Norstan, where Christian previously served as president and CEO. He also served as Norstan's executive vice president and chief financial officer before being appointed to the CEO post.

Christian holds a master's of business administration from Pepperdine University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton.
